550X Polymer
Concentrated, granular copolymer of sodium acrylamides/acrylates. By
introducing 550X to appropriate drilling operations the following
practical advantages can be expected: excellent stability of walls or
holes, torque lessened by 20-30%, and reduction in wear of tubular
material. 550X can be mixed readily with fresh water.
Barite
A weighting material possessing a specific gravity ranging from 4.2 to 4.3.
Cal Seal
Is a white odourless powder used in cementing drill holes. This unique
cementing product sets up in 2 hours when mixed properly. Principal use
is to hold drill hole cave and seal large vugs and fissures. It is not
a controlled product under WHMIS and is a non dangerous product.
Dr-133 Polymer
Is an advanced formula liquid polymer designed for a wide range of
drilling applications. Maintains hole conditions in friable zones such
as overburden, silts, sands and clay.Superior lubricating qualities
eliminate vibration while increasing core recovery.
Geo-Flo
Is our new quar gum based drilling fluid. Geo-Flo gives you a blue
viscosity indicator, fast mixing & high yield. Thirty lbs of Geo-Flo
makes up 680 gallons of drilling fluid. At ambient temperature Geo-Flo
does not break until 120 hours.
GSX 20 Bit Coolant
Is a sulphured biodegradable non-polluting complex. It provides a
constant diamond cooling by instant heat transfer. GSX 20 increases
matrix mechanical characteristics by its cooling action and reduces
friction.
Hydraul-EZ
Is a high yield 200 mesh sodium bentonite clay with special dry polymer
additives. Hydraul-EZ is specially designed for conditions encountered
in angle and horizontal borehole drilling. Mixes quickly and is
concentrated for high yield.
Linseed Soap
Is a lubricating grease made from a mixture of linseed oil, fatty soaps
and surfactants. It can be swabbed inside inner tubes, added to drill
fluid through a suction hose applicator or flushed into holding tanks
with a water spray. Immediate results will occur by increased core
recovery and increased bit footage..
Lubtub
Is a liquid polymer solution. Lubtub is the ideal product to use
through swelling and easily wetted formation (plastic, sticky clay,
gumbo-type, swelling marl, etc.). It will reduce tool binding,
stabilize hold walls and prevent drilled soils from hydrating.
Premium Gel
(API Bentonite) is a 200 mesh, 90 bbl. Yield sodium bentonite for fresh
water drilling. May be used for all types of fresh water mud rotary
drilling where higher solids are desired. It is fast and easy mixing.
Super Foam
Is a bio-degradable liquid foaming agent. Super Foam improves
penetration rate and helps remove cuttings from the borehole.
Super Poly
Is a non-fermenting granular polymer designed for building a low solids
drilling fluid. Stabilizes the hole while drilling water sensitive
formations, reduces pump pressure, rod vibration and torque. Controls
viscosity of drilling mud.
Super Set
Cement Accelerator designed for use with normal Portland type 10
cement.
W-OB Polymer
Is a liquid ionic formulation which forms a molecular bond with DR-133
POLYMER to develop superior drilling qualities of both products.
Principal use is fast boost viscosifier for DR-133 Polymer which results
in greater core recovery and hole stability in sensitive formations.
Increases lubricating quantities of DR-133 Polymer. Non-dangerous
product.
WDS 120L
Is a white, liquid anionic polymer which is easily mixed in fresh or
brine water systems. When added to plain water stabilizes swelling,
provides drill string lubrication reduces torque rod chatter and pump
pressure. WDS 120/L added to a pre-mixed X-TRA GEL drilling fluid
greatly improves the hole cleaning and formation stabilization. When
used in foam drilling fluids, provides greater foam stability. It is
environmentally acceptable, non toxic and doesn’t ferment.
WDS EN-03
Is an ultra high molecular weight non-ionic polyacrylamide flocculant
supplied as an emulsion. .
WDS Floc Dry Powder
Adding approx. 1 litre volume of road salt (calcium chloride) per 100
gallons of water would help to settle cuttings.
X-Tra Gel
Is a easy mixing, high viscosity 200 bbl. Yield freshwater drilling
fluid. Highly concentrated for maximum yield, mixes quickly and easily,
removes cutting, and stabilizes boreholes.
Miscellaneous Chemicals
Calcium Chloride (CaCl2) is used to prepare brine solutions and to
weight polymer muds. Keeps fluid from freezing. It is also a source of
calcium for calcium chloride muds.
Soda Ash (NA2CO3)Sodium carbonate. Used to precipitate soluble calcium
from water base muds. To control pH, for bringing low pH up. Used to
remove soluble calcium and magnesium from hard water, to help bentonite
yield.
Salt, Sodium Chloride is used to weight polymer muds, to prepare sea
water and saturated salt water muds, and to inhibit sloughing shales.
Salt may also be used to lower the freezing point of muds (especially
polymer muds).
Mud-Floc II D (Dispersible)
Polymer based, selective flocculant in the form of a light, white coloured powder.
