GROUT AND HOLE PLUGS

Displacement Plugs
Are used in diamond drilling wireline drill rods and casing for placing
cement plugs or casing pack fluid. The plugs are made of natural rubber
and are designed to allow positive placement of a casing pack in the
casing annulus or swabbing out drill rods.

Margo Plug
A mechanical type hollow stem hole plug, it comes in all standard sizes
and lengths. The Margo Plug comes with 4 sturdy RUBBER sleeves. Mainly
used to seal off underground drill holes or pump grout through.

Safety Plugs
Plug must be snugly fitted in drill hole to prevent from turning.
Tightening of the nut will expand plug wedges and rubber bushings
securing plug and sealing drill hole. Cementing and/or grouting drill
hole will not be required once the plug is securely installed.

Van Ruth - CW Plug
Used for wedging and cementing. Made of a drillable aluminum and
urethane construction. The plug is pumped through the open rods and can
be set at any desired level. When the plug leaves the rods, springs
force the dogs out against the hole and the plug is set.

VK Grout Plugs
Constructed of aluminum and rubber with a soft steel pipe in the centre.
This allows the Grout Plug to be drilled out. The built-in check valve stops
pressure in the hole which makes it ideal for grouting. The VK Grout Plug can
be adapted to drill robs by a left-hand pipe thread which allows you to remove
the drill rods after grouting. The Grout Plugs are approximately 33 cm long and
weigh approximately 1 kg.
